Growing up, Abby’s family had a plaque in their home encouraging them to share their faith through their actions.
And yes—how we live matters.
But Abby points out something important in her conversation with Jody:
Sometimes God invites us to actually say something.
Encourage the person.
Speak the kind word.
Tell someone what you see in them.
Share the hope you have.
Jody experienced that when she felt prompted to speak encouraging words to a woman who desperately needed them. God could have used someone else—but Jody had the opportunity to say yes.
And that's worth thinking about.
What if God wants to encourage someone today—and He's inviting you to be the person who says it?
Our actions can show people the love of Jesus. And sometimes, our words can help them understand the hope behind those actions. 💛
