No apology.
No accountability.
No consequences that you can see.
Sometimes, one of the hardest things about being wounded is watching life continue as though nothing happened.
And when justice doesn't come the way we think it should, it's tempting to take matters into our own hands.
But Andrew Steier reminds us of something important:
God saw what happened.
He sees the injustice. He knows the hurt. And He cares about what is right.
Trusting God's justice doesn't mean pretending the wrong didn't happen or refusing to pursue appropriate accountability.
It means recognizing that we don't have to carry the burden of vengeance.
We can seek what is right, establish healthy boundaries, and trust God with what is beyond our control.
Sometimes obedience looks like taking action.
And sometimes it looks like releasing our need to personally make everything right.
God's timing may not look like ours. But His justice is never separated from His goodness. 💛
