Not Believing Righteousness

You can know what Scripture says about you—and still struggle to believe it's true.

Maybe you've read that you're forgiven.
That you're loved.
That you've been made righteous through Jesus.

But then you make a mistake.
You fall short.

And suddenly, all you can see is everything you've done wrong.

In Part Two of the Everyday Faith Podcast, Mark Halstensgard challenges us to consider the difference between knowing our identity in Christ and actually living as though we believe it.

Because our confidence before God was never meant to rest on our perfect performance.

We are made righteous through what Jesus has done—not because we've managed to get everything right.
That doesn't mean our choices don't matter.

It means our failures don't have to become our identity.

And when thoughts of shame or inadequacy begin to take over, we can return to what God has said is true.
Don't let your worst moment speak louder than what Jesus has done for you. 💛
