Dan was ready to defend his brother.
But his brother knew something Dan didn't:
“It's okay. She's had a hard day.”
What a picture of the perspective the Holy Spirit can give us.
Our first reaction might be frustration, offense, or judgment. But God sees what we can't see—the hurt, the history, the hard day behind someone's behavior.
Maybe before we react, there's a better question to ask:
“Holy Spirit, is there something I'm not seeing?”
That little pause might completely change the way we respond. 💛
