100

It was little over a year ago on May 10, 2024, when I posted  my very first devotion. I didn’t have a master plan or know what I was doing… I just knew I had to start. Something in me said, “You need to do this.” So I did.

Today this is post #100. (Thank you Jesus)

Writing these devotions has become more than just a spiritual exercise; it’s been a lifeline. God has used this to stretch me, teach me, and remind me who He is and who I am in Him.

2 Timothy 3:16-17

All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the servant of God[a] may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

There was a time I used to wish life came with a manual, thinking “If only I had an instruction manual” .  I can now say with full confidence:  The Bible and the Holy Spirit is our Blueprint for life!!

John 14:26

But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.

Here’s some of what I’ve learned so far:

  • God is always faithful — even when we’re unsure, unprepared, or feeling unworthy. (2 Timothy 2:13)

  • Everything we need for life and godliness is found in the Bible (2 Peter 1:3).

  • The Word is alive, active, and timeless (Hebrews 4:12).

  • You will never regret obeying the Holy Spirit. (Galatians 5:16)

  • This Christian walk isn’t a sprint — it’s a journey. (Hebrews 12:1)

  • Trust God. Trust His timing. Trust His promises. (Proverbs 3:5-6)

  • Prayer works and changes things, period. - (James 5:16)

If these devotions have helped or encouraged you even a little, I give all glory to God. I simply write what I believe He places on my heart — most times from my own life experiences, quiet moments of prayer, and sometimes from lessons I didn’t even know I needed until I wrote them out.

I humbly ask you to pray for me that God would continue to use this platform to touch lives, stir hearts, and draw people closer to Him.

I want to encourage you to keep praying, reading / studying your Bible and keep listening to the Holy Spirit. God is always speaking — we just have to quiet ourselves enough to listen.

Lets Pray - Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of Your Word. Thank You for being faithful through every step of our journey. I pray that You continue to guide my path and use these devotions for Your glory. Let every reader be encouraged, challenged, and reminded of Your love and truth. I pray that we always turn to Your Word as our source of wisdom and direction. In Jesus’ precious name, Amen.
